Ouagadougou
Project Partner: SOS Children’s Village Canada
OS Children’s Village is located in the northern outskirts of Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso. The village houses 160 children and youth residents along with their house mothers and SOS staff. The village provides for an additional 75 kindergarten children, 150 primary school students and approximately 225 beneficiaries of the social outreach centre.
This project is an addition to the piped sewerage network completed in 2008 and provides improved grey water drainage for 72 evacuation pipes from household showers, sinks and wash basins.
