Maasai Rainwater Harvesting Project

The Massai people are a semi-nomadic group of people who inhabit the Rift Valley of Kenya. Due to their limited resources, the Massai often travel many hours a day to fetch water for their tribes.

We, with our Kenyan partner POWER, will:

  • Build thirty four 10,000 litre Ferro Cement Rainwater Harvesting Tanks
  • Provide WASH training provided to 34 Community Interest Groups (made up of at least 10 women per group
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation that will be consistent with work done by all partners of Ryan’s Well
