KENYA AND WESTERN UGANDA
PROJECT PARTNERS: RWIDF, POWER, DIVINE
By providing capacity training for our East African partners, Ryan’s Well is working with our current partners in Kenya and Uganda so that each organization can share their expertise with each other. The training and construction will take place in Western Uganda, the operational area of our partner RWIDF.
This initiative will provide cross training amongst 3 partners in the construction of:
- One Protected Spring at Bishop Robert Secondary School (student population of 435)
- One 30 thousand litre Rainwater Harvesting tank at Rwamagaya Catholic Church
- Training of two Water Source Committees
- WASH training at both locations
Current best practices will be shared between three long time partners of Ryan’s Well. Teams from each partner will train the other partners in a myriad of technical issues in the construction of both protected springs and rain water harvesting tanks.
