Burkina Faso – Reo Primary School and Polesgo Village

Project Partner: Rotary (Crystal Club)

Thanks to generous donors like you, construction in the Polesgo and Reo Primary School communities in Burkina Faso is proceeding nicely with a deep well in Polesgo and hygiene and sanitation training in both communities already completed.

The Rotary (Crystal) Club out of Ouagadougou is our community partner on this project. Their vast experience in the physical implementation of water projects, community mobilization and WASH training has been essential.

A deep well for the Reo Primary School community will be built next. Reo’s current water source is a 40 year-old hand dug well that goes bone dry in the dry season and is highly susceptible to bacteria. But with your help, households won’t have to worry about a lack of water when rain doesn’t come for months. The health and wellbeing of the community will improve. And children will miss less school because of their improved health.

Thank you so much for your support.

Project deliverables:

  • Two deep wells

Every effort is made to designate your funds as requested; however, if the project has become fully funded or circumstances delay the start of that project, we may allocate your donation to another important project.
