Our partner, Ocades-Caritas Koupela in Eastern Burkina Faso, brings many years of experience to our project work. They are excellent in providing the hard deliverables of drilling wells, as well as delivering the extremely important pieces of community organization and WASH training (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) training. This project will see 17 wells completed, WASH training and community organization work in 10 schools and 7 communities. Approximately 14,078 people will benefit from potable water and the important training to improve the health and well-being of the people living in the communities, and the students attending these schools.
What will the funds raised support?
- Community and Committee Organization in the 7 Villages and 10 Schools
- Drilling of 17 Deep Bore Hole Wells
- Mobilization and WASH training for Community and School Water Committees
- Ongoing monitoring and evaluation
These communities and schools are in very remote areas, receiving little attention from government or other NGO’s working in Burkina Faso.
