Since Ryan began his efforts for clean water in 1997, Ryan's Well has supported projects in 16 countries across the globe. The vast global water and sanitation crisis impacts so many communities, regions and countries.
Our goal is to support sustainable water and sanitation projects and deepen the capacity of our partners to support positive change in their communities and region. In order to focus our efforts and utilize your contributions efficiently and effectively, we are now concentrating our efforts in three country clusters:
- East Africa – Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania
- West Africa – Burkina Faso, Ghana and Togo
- Americas - Haiti
By focusing on these regions, we can work efficiently to increase monitoring, share information between regional partners and continue to build relationships with established local partner organizations.
To date, Ryan's Well has supported - 705 wells and 905 latrines serving 745,303 people!
