Every Gift Makes a Difference!

Since 2001, we’ve impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of people by inspiring others, especially youth, to take action and effect positive change in the world and through the initiation of community-led water and sanitation projects.

Build: Water, Sanitation and Hygiene projects

  • Completed over 700 wells and 900 latrines. Learn more about our Projects.
  • Provided access to safe water, improved sanitation and hygiene education for over 745,000 people.
  • With access to safe water and sanitation, communities realize improved  health and well-being for a more prosperous future.
  • Women, children are empowered by access to safe water when less time is needed to collect water each day - time that can be dedicated instead to education, income generating activities and living healthy lives.

Empower: Get involved and Make a Difference

  • Involving over 650 schools from 30 countries in our fundraising activities.
  • Presented our message of safe water for all by reaching more than 120,000 people, mainly youth, each year through volunteer, Ambassador, staff and Ryan’s speaking engagements.
  • Provided support and resources to assist those interested in safe water issues to get involved on our behalf.
  • Formed partnerships with school boards to promote our Youth in Action program, a curriculum educating students about the importance of clean water and encouraging them to become active and responsible citizens.
  • Distributed hundreds of Youth in Action kits to teachers, schools and school boards around the world.

Fiscally Responsible

Each year, we focus on keeping our administrative costs as low as possible. Our small, efficient team is critical to the Foundation’s mission of improving lives and effecting change in the world. A portion of all donations supports administration. On average, 80-85 cents of every dollar donated directly supports our charitable programs.

Internationally Recognized

We are an internationally recognized non-profit organization. Ryan’s message and the work of the Foundation have been featured twice on the Oprah Winfrey Show as well as on CNN and the CBC. We have been profiled in the print media including Christian Science Monitor, Globe and Mail, People, Reader’s Digest, and Time Magazine. Ryan and the foundation have been recognized with several prestigious awards including World of Children Founders’ Award, the Order of Ontario (youngest ever recipient), the Canadian Meritorious Service Medal, ONE X ONE Difference Award, and the Top 20 Under 20 Youth Award.
